LET'S REWIND
Fights & Results

MUAY THAI VIC
November 15th

Asad
Asad stepped in for his sixth amateur bout and showed moments of clean, sharp technique when he let his shots go. He had some good exchanges throughout the fight, but struggled to find his rhythm consistently, which allowed his opponent to stay a step ahead as the rounds went on. A late knockdown in the final round led to a stoppage, but Asad showed heart right to the end. He’s doing well, and the lessons from this one will be invaluable as we focus on rebuilding his confidence and timing for whatever comes next.

Sang
Sang put on a composed and disciplined performance, taking a unanimous win over an opponent with twice the experience. He followed the game plan perfectly, kept the pressure in all the right ranges, and showed huge heart to maintain the work rate from start to finish. This victory marks his fourth straight win and keeps his amateur record undefeated, an impressive effort and a massive step forward in his journey.
ROOTS/REBELLION
November 15th

Coach Vinay
Vinay opened the four-man tournament with a highly anticipated rematch against the only opponent to ever beat him, and he delivered the strongest performance of his career. He controlled the exchanges beautifully, using heavy attacks to stop the forward pressure and meeting his opponent with some strong boxing and solid clinch work.
In the tournament final, Vinay faced a skilled opponent from SRG Thai Boxing Gym in NSW, who came out swinging hard from the opening bell trying to finish the fight early. Caught off guard, Vinay dug deep to survive the first round before resetting in the corner and coming back with complete control.
Despite developing a nasty hematoma early in round one, Vinay stayed composed and pushed hard in the final round with the score one a piece, securing a decisive and well-deserved win. A huge statement performance and the perfect revenge victory to book his place in the tournament final.
Rounds two and three saw him dominate all ranges, dictate the pace, and showcase his technical class, earning a hard-fought unanimous decision win over his opponent and claiming the four-man tournament title. An intense, memorable battle and a career-defining moment for Vinay.

Eli

Eli faced a tough international opponent from Bangkok’s well known gym, FA Group, setting the stage for a high-pace, pressure-filled fight. Both athletes met fire with fire, trading explosive exchanges and showcasing strong Muay Thai technique throughout. Eli held his own in every round, but his opponent managed to edge ahead in the closing moments, resulting in a narrow split-decision loss. A close, exciting contest and a performance Eli can build on as he continues to rise through the pro ranks.

SPARTANS CUP CHAMPIONSHIP
November 28th

Jack
Jack stepped in for his third pro bout and secured a hard-fought split decision win over a tough opponent from New Zealand. After absorbing early pressure in round one, he made smart adjustments and took over the fight by switching his range and dominating the clinch exchanges in the second and third rounds. It was a strong, composed performance that showed his growth as a fighter. Jack picked up a couple of minor cuts but is in great spirits, and we’re excited to see him return at his lighter weight class for the next one.

More about Sebastian...
Sebastian developed an interest in Muay Thai after his school friends mentioned that they trained in it, and he wanted to join them for sparring sessions.
His consistency is fueled by his dad's encouragement and the enjoyment he finds in the classes. Interestingly, outside of Muay Thai,
Sebastian plays AFL football!

COACHES CORNER
"Train hard,
fight easy."
- Coach Kevin
DID YOU KNOW?
After the passing of Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother on 24 October 2025, the Thai government declared a year–long mourning period for civil servants, and all national flags will fly at half-mast for 30 days. During this period the public are encouraged to wear black or subdued colours for at least 90 days as a mark of respect.

Queen Sirikit was born on 12 August 1932 in Bangkok,
She married King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) on 28 April 1950, and on 5 May 1950 she became Queen when the King was crowned and had four children.
She passed away on 24 October 2025 at the age of 93.

Legacy & why she matters
-
She championed rural development, helped establish and support many projects to improve livelihoods for people in remote areas in Thailand.
-
She had a strong role in preserving and promoting Thai cultural arts and heritage, including Thai silk, traditional crafts and textiles.
